SPC board

SPC (Stone Plastic Composite, stone-plastic composite flooring) is a new type of environmentally friendly building material. It is made of natural stone powder (calcium carbonate), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), stabilizers, etc. under high temperature and high pressure. It combines the stability of stone and the flexibility of PVC, and is suitable for floor paving in families, commercial and special environments.

1. Product structure
SPC flooring typically adopts a four-layer composite structure to ensure high durability and comfort:

Material and function of the structural layer
UV wear-resistant layer with high transparency coating enhances scratch resistance and wear resistance (AC3-AC5 grades), and is easy to clean and stain-resistant.
The decorative layer high-definition printed film imitates wood grain, stone grain, carpet grain, etc., with high fidelity.
SPC substrate layer: stone powder (calcium carbonate) + PVC, high density (≥2.0g/cm³), waterproof, moisture-proof, impact-resistant and non-deformable.
Balance layer/silent pad EVA/IXPE foam layer (for some high-end models), enhancing foot comfort and reducing walking noise (15-20dB noise reduction).
2. Product Specifications
Parameters, common specifications, applicable scenarios
The thickness is 3.5mm / 4.0mm / 5.0mm / 6.0mm / 8.0mm. For home decoration, it is recommended to choose 4-5mm, and for commercial use, 6mm+ is selected
Narrow boards with widths of 150mm / 180mm / 200mm / 230mm imitate solid wood, while wide boards exude a sense of grandeur
Long boards with lengths of 900mm / 1200mm / 1500mm / 1800mm reduce seams and provide a more coherent visual effect
The lock type is Unilin/Valinge/flat lock, with glue-free installation and easy disassembly
Each box has an area of 1.5 to 2.5 square meters (approximately 6 to 12 pieces per box). When calculating the usage, a loss of 5% to 10% should be added
3. Core performance parameters
Explanation of performance index advantages
The wear resistance grade AC3-AC5 (household AC3, commercial AC4-AC5) far exceeds that of laminate flooring, with a lifespan of 10 to 20 years
Water resistance: 100% waterproof (water absorption rate <0.1%), can be soaked in water, suitable for bathrooms and kitchens
The fire resistance rating is B1 grade (difficult to ignite), and it meets the GB8624-2012 standard
Environmental protection certification ENF grade (formaldehyde ≤0.025mg/m³), CARB NAF maternal and infant grade safety, ready to move in immediately after installation
The floor heating system is suitable for temperatures ranging from -20℃ to 60℃, with a thermal conductivity of 0.12-0.15W/(m·K). It is specifically designed for floor heating and does not deform or release harmful gases
The impact resistance drop ball impact test shows no indentation when a heavy object of ≥1500g is dropped
4. Applicable scenarios
Home decoration: living room, bedroom, kitchen, balcony, bathroom (fully furnished throughout the house).

Workwear: shopping malls, offices, hospitals, schools, gyms (with high wear resistance requirements).

Special environments: basements, floor heating rooms, rental houses, container houses (moisture-proof and temperature-resistant).

5. Installation method
Lock connection: No glue required, directly float laying, DIY available (ground flatness ≤3mm/2m).

Base treatment: Cement floor leveling → Laying moisture-proof pads (optional) → splicing the floor → fixing with edge strips.

Tool requirements: utility knife, rubber hammer, hook, tape measure, pencil.

6. Maintenance and servicing
Daily cleaning: Vacuum cleaner/broom cleaning, wet mop wiping (avoid strong acid and strong alkali cleaners).

Repair scratches: Minor scratches can be treated with repair wax, and severe wear can be replaced one piece at a time (lock design).

Long-term maintenance: No waxing required. Avoid dragging furniture with sharp objects.
